Got half way to the ramp and a mate drive past, done a u turn and came fishing with me.

Flinders squid would be my choice. The police marine patrol were out in force today, but there was only about 15 trailers at the Werribee boat ramp, (which is empty by weekend standards), doing boat checks, and licence checks at the ramp.Quote:

PFB is doing well after years of being light on...
Just bought some Ribbon fish from the market to try as bait.
Thick skin, skinny fish used as whole slices, think it will work a treat.
Might work well as gummy bait.
Only problem is that I don't know how well this fish freezes and defrosts, whether or not it will be mushy fish once it defrosts.
Has anybody used RibbonFish as bait.
