I'm off in about an hour..
Salmon is the order of the day atm it seams.. Up to 70cm is being caught..
Southerlies to 20+ knots today, BBQ and beer is the order of the day!
So Mego if I bring my boat down to the big smoke can i follow you around?
Another good day on the water but it got bloody windy.
Got half way to the ramp and a mate drive past, done a u turn and came fishing with me.
Bagged out in squid again.
Which ramp?
I want to try and wet a line on monday, hopefully i can get a chance
Anywhere there is fish!!! Lol dunno, if i take the boat out it'll be from altona so probably for pinkies on plastics and maybe squid but i need flares....
Or i was weighing up going brighton off the break water for salmon, pinkies or whatever is swimming by but i was thinking of going to flinders for squid coz i haven't been in years but can't decide haha.
Me and a mate had a win. Was a but slow though..
Ended up with 13 salmon.

3 above 30cm
And the rest high 20's..

Some days just catching fish is all you need, not about quantity or quality. But a day out with mates on a boat with you rod in your hand and a bait in the water.
Was it a shocker cos your mates didn't talk to you or because your mates were catching all the fish.
PFB is doing well after years of being light on...
Just bought some Ribbon fish from the market to try as bait.
Thick skin, skinny fish used as whole slices, think it will work a treat.
Might work well as gummy bait.
Only problem is that I don't know how well this fish freezes and defrosts, whether or not it will be mushy fish once it defrosts.
Has anybody used RibbonFish as bait.

Got a call from my parents in Coral Bay. They called to say G'day...Yeah Right! To brag about their day's catch... Both got a heap of Charlie Court Cod, and a Cobia, each. Mum's was 87cm and Dad's would have been over a metre long but a shark took a bit of the tail just as he got it to the boat.
