Andy have you tested your sat phone dock out with plugging it into your cig lighter? I hope that dock has not been fried.
Sooo, you guys didn't drink beer? Only water you need, is enough to fill the radiator. :1062:
Very jealous though of your trip. The weather obviously got better as you headed further north?
I took 60lt bladder for cooking and washing up and 2 x 10lt casks for drinking. I used 15lt for drinking. My bladder is more than half full.
I drank a box of 30 beers and could have done another 12cans. A bottle of whiskey would have been awesome but I forgot to pack it.
I should have packed clothes pegs but paid $9 for 2 packs in. Birdsville.
Should have taken my wife and daughter too.
Hey mate, I am about to dig out my members ride thread in coming weeks as I am committed to giving it some loving soon!!!
I have completely removed everything inside my vehicle and thoroughly cleaned it....Shock horror I know but it has come up a treat!
I have also removed my entire box from the rear and re strengthened it as I was slamming the fridge into the Jerry which pushed out the screws at rear.
Found the short in tail lamps as you know...
To answer your question...lol....I rung up Beam (docking station manufacturer) today and It's all under warranty. Spoke to tech bloke and there is no 12 volt component to test out the docking station so I am going to unsolder the connection tomorrow to try out direct to battery and test it out for ships and giggles to see if it was a power supply issue and if not I will send it back to get repaired so happy days.
Yes I need to do the same but with the rain I have had no motivation because the car doesn't fit in the shed... I have unpacked it though which is a start.
Glad that you are covered by warranty on the dock.
And AB found his Magnet!! Funny!
