Finished off the front, well need to do the grass but that will be on the other side of winter. Brought one of these smart inline switch to control the 4 lights on the house, works brilliantly. Water feature now works and 12v lights around it are on a dusk till dawn sensor.

I am a big fan of home automation. Maybe I'm a wanker but whatever. All the internal and external lights in my house are automated, so are the roller shutters on the front windows, garage roller door etc...

Got a bit done this weekend, lined the face of the deck with boards, built another set of stairs and put up half of the screen wall.
The screen wall is screwed into a steel frame and I ran out of drill bits just before dark.
Tomorrow the roof is going on, I'll build the stud wall and hopefully finish the screen wall.

The oil was a bit darker than I'd hoped but it has dried really nicely!
This weekend we will be painting the rendered wall, hanging the telly and putting the 2nd coat of oil down on the timber.

I have also had the sparky come in and wire up all the lights, fan and GPOs. The lights are on our automation system so have full control. I also installed a Unifi WAP behind the TV for great wifi outside.
