Haha. Nearly scored a 5.9L 6BT Cummins for free last month. Ex fire pump.

Hope you're all going alright folks.
Been pretty interesting driving around Melbourne, in the early AM hours. Being the only car on the road for miles, on a usually chockers freeway is surreal. It's a sad, but hopeful sight...
Dart board mounted.
48" smart TV mounted and good enough Wi-Fi from the house to run the TV. Stoked!!

How is everyone?
Hope you're all doing OK, keeping the fight going and trying to hold everything together.
I'm finding I have days when I wonder what the problem is, and then days that are bloody tough, just this thing in the back of your head saying no you can't, no you can't, no you can't. Gunna punch that bloke in the teeth when I see him.
I hate to say it but I rekn we’ll still be in the same position in 6 if not 12 mths . I hope I’m wrong but it’s not looking good - & the flow on effects for businesses will be felt long after that .
Is that dart board mounted on the back of a door Daz ? 1 way to make sure people knock before entering that’s for sure hahaha
Yep, the real shit, I don't believe, has hit the fan yet. When the Fed monetary support ends, I suspect we'll all be in a large bucket of shit. I think people are concentrating on health issues ATM, but when the financial side of this bites, you'd better know how to swim. The guy on the news last had a graph showing % of businesses closed due to COVID. The highest outside Vic was 16%, in Vic it was 90%.
Time for this again .

So glad I live in covid free SA.
Hope Vic can get sorted so Cape Jaffa can happen.
Crazy as it is I think there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.
I think it may be heat related but what do I know been staying home since march
Just about had a gutfull of it,Hang in there not much longer
G'day TD, I thought it may have been heat related in Feb/March but I don't think so, Europe's warm at the moment and they're going crazy again, same in the US.
One good thing I can think of from all this is that us Victorians now know what we'll have to go through if this happens again and I hope we all have long memories and take more care next time.
@10G All those anti maskers and border breakers are not helping at all.
IMHO I thought this second lot was due to that protest they had unlawfully.
You speaking about the Vic 2nd wave?
As far as I know, that was created by the hotel security guards spreading it around.

11 new cases and a hint of restrictions lifted early.
First time in months things are looking positive!!!
Fingers crossed it all goes well for you city folk. The restrictions have eased considerably, out here in the sticks.
I'll give it late Oct, Late Nov latest until we're back into the s#it boat again.
Mark my words. No pun intended.
Last restriction lifts, people got complacent too much and too quickly. As if the chinese virus mystically vanished and was no more.
This time around when the and if things ease up, people will be complacent AND pissed off, over it, there is a lot of tension etc... So, the ricochet effect will hit back hard.
The important thing is that we sneak a trip or two up north during the lull.:drunk:
I’m amazed how many people locally are not wearing masks, or have them under their chin. See heaps walking around the lake and gardens and no way known are they exercising. The lifting of some restrictions regionally has thrown social distancing out the window, and no limits on the number of contacts.
Friends in Daylesford are absolutely crapping themselves that restrictions will be lifted soon, local market on the weekend was overrun with visitors. Police ran the number plate recognition vehicle through the car park and streets, apparently a lot of people will be getting a please explain or fine.
Unfortunately the ring of steel is a little porous if you know a few local roads.
It’s a massive worry for sure.
It seems that there is no way of stopping this until short of an effective vaccine and a mass inoculation programme.
When you think about it - this whole mess started because just one person got infected. While getting numbers down to single digits might sound good, it is almost certainly going to bloom again. There are too many people out there who just don't care.
But there is some good news: it appears that the virus cannot spread at an AFL finals game - at least at the 'Gabba in Qld. 25,000 expected, but I can only have 10 in my house and those 10 need to keep their distance.

I don't disagree with you mate, but I hope that some of the people think, 'If we act like morons again, we may have to go through that lockdown stuff again and I sure don't want to do that'. That may be a saving grace. I reckon people may also be more likely to dob in others.
There have been a lot of people getting crook and dying of all different types of viruses and flues all around the world every day but we have never stopped the whole economy because of it.
We need to live with this virus and get on with our lives.
Yea it’s nusty, yes it kills people but we need to move on and live with it till a vaccine is available.
ATM, look after the vulnerable and protect yourselves
Fuck the lock downs !
