Taken on Horrocks Pass SA when I first moved to Qld from WA. There were 5 horses in the paddock and they didn`t mind the pears I gave them.

Pull ya footy socks up Mr Cuppa, sun safe brother :-) !
I'll have you know that that is the most sun tanned I've ever been in my life , check out my neck & forearms! LOL.
When I first arrived in Oz from the UK it was my work colleagues who reckoned they needed dark glasses on account of my natural dazzle factor, & that was wearing clothes!
Found this interesting specimen, had no idea what it was at the time but sent a couple of pics of to a Fungii specialist. Apparently it is a Porchini Mushroom & worth around $70 a pound. No idea what part you are supposed to eat so will be leaving well alone!
Quite large, around 50 cm long.

That`s an Italian motor car isn`t it VK? The picture isn`t showing either my end, hence the stupid comment about the car.

Had this little fella visit or paddocks for a coupla days. Just one of the reasons I am trying to fight the earth moving business from starting in our neighbourhood (rural conservation zone).
Fair call Mr Mudnut :-)
Some families also need their old homes left standing to raise/teach youngens ;-)

Aussie WTEagles are very efficient on vermin, dedicated and always at work on time, unlike some young guns!

Found this poor little beggar on the ground in the rain. Whacked him into a shoe box with an old towel. It snuggled in as we rang the wildlife rescue mob. I hope they can save him.
Bugger, it stopped breathing.
You can only give it your best mate ;-) !
I think our young dog got to it first.
Wedge tail eagle a few Ks out of Beverley, WA. Wasn`t quick enough to take a photo of it taking off from the ground. When I was driving around a sweeping bend, I notice a flock of sheep running from sone thing in the paddock and then I noticed some thing land on the ground, found out it was a Wedge tail eagle with another not far away. A third was circling towards the top of a hill in the paddock. The two that were in the paddock, had a bit of height to them and stood well above the stubble.
Found this little guy wandering around our site.
