fooled a heap of PPL, the pipe is called a Premier pipe
more down low that top end, Made a decent sound.
Tyres were Michelin centre was a hard compound progressing
to sticky on the edges, great tyre once warmed up LOL
Put a new number plate relocation kit on and got rid of the stock indicators and running lights.

This is my mates 64 Saint I think with a bonny head, very nice set
of original Dunstall 2 into ones. Like all our bikes cafe racers were all the rage.
Harleys werent even around then. Plenty of BSA, and ex NSW police bikes
Triumph saints, trophy and TI20 bonnevilles, the odd Trident and Hurricane.
This was when Honda first released its CB 750 four, straight off the show room floor
you could take it around Aust How do you compete with that ??

In having it for sale I have some pics of mine now.
What a great bunch of photos. Thanks for sharing.
Riding bikes jumped a generation in my family. Grandad (Dad's dad) told me stories of a Triumph he had back in the 20's or 30's. Belt driven. One local hill, famed for it's length & steepness was always a challenge with the summit being reached with smoke pouring off the slipping belt. Dad never rode & I had to go against his wishes to get my first bike.
Great photos to have, my Dads here tomorrow night, he will enjoy those.
Great photos mate
This is my adventure setup. Patrol with the postie on a motorbike tow hitch mount.

Works great.
Is that a hitchmate like the ones they sell at Peter Stevens?
They sell mo-tows at PS. I've got one, it's pretty good.
My new steed arrived today. I am more than excited!

I think that might be Peggs beach plassy. If it is, they raced there until about ten years ago. It was all shut down after a guy died.

For those that are old enough to remember............
I firmly believe that motorcycling changed forever with the birth of the Yamaha RD250/RD350 - 2 stroke, IMHO.
Man those things could fly.
I still have my bike licence and I prefer shaft drive to chain. lol
OH&S and silly insurance needs closed a lot of 4x4 and bike activities.
Those Pics would sure come in handy for ppl sourcing parts from
a box of bits, That side car is not a Dustings any idea what brand.
Thats a great collection of Photos
Sidecar racing was all the rage in days of yore lol be it speedway,
track even grass track.
Ive had a go at Calder swinging from a sidecar awesome experience,
but I loved my unlimited production bikes, till they knocked that on the
head in the 80s I reckon
Loving all the Girder front ends lol
Dad was saying something about the Megaphone pipe, once it came onto the sweet spot it was "hang on".
He had Velocette motor cycles himself and raced dirt, sort of the beginning of motocross, not circuit racing.
He knew all the other bikes well.
The Test was on Friday night so he only had a quick look, should have taken his time as his team didn't do very well!
By the way @roofy the pizza's were superb especially the seafood num num num.
Beer's, Pizza's and Football then good coffee and home made apple pie with ice-cream... great night.
Just got the bike back after a few mods new pipes and mufflers and air ride suspension Attachment 66900
