Voted mate. Good luck
Bit of an update. Had another undertray box fabbed. Note it has a step built in to ensure access to the tray from both sides is still available.

Built an onboard air system utilising a 35L. tank under the tray, two outlets, compressor behind the passenger seat, all automatic.

Looks fantastic. I voted too! Good luck, mate.
This is the kind of vehicle that i aspire mine to be close to one day, my vote is cast mate & i dream one day that Tuf & Portal will meet out on the tracks.
Voted for Pat and good luck mate!
You are gentlemen, one and all. Thanks.
we get to go for a spin if ya win hahahaha
Got a little tired of the factory DX seating so laid the dollars down for a pair of Paradrive buckets with inbuilt inflatable lumbar support. Very very nice. Backaches a thing of the past. Now for the overhead console...............

Good to see you here again Pat.
Merry Christmas to ya mate & hows things?
Love the new additions BTW
Interior is becoming quite comfortable lately with the inclusion of an "Outback" overhead console. Uniden UHF had to be force-fitted as it's very old (pre Boer War). Maybe an excuse to buy a new 80 channel !!??

Awesome looking truck, big wheels!
Been some time since I was on here. Truck continues to evolve. Old OME coils and shockies were past their use by date so went with Suspension Stuff Ultraflexy coils and Dobinsons shocks. what a transformation.

Front is freed up as well now with Superior Superflex arms plus above-mentioned coils and shocks.

Went with a 44" LED lightbar as well for flood light. Absolutely awesome.

A reluctance to start hot proved to be a worn injector pump and tired injectors. $3200 got that sorted and good to go. Never ends, does it ?
How do you find your winch saver Got one from the states as well, but would hate to get hit in head with it, better than hook I suppose.
cheap enough too have already designs for an Aus version, for both roller fairlead and hawse fairlead
Already had an incident with it. Winch extension strap broke under strain, simply fell to ground and absorbed whip in rope. Brilliant.
Good to hear, a lot less accidents if more used rope instead of wire, but prices not too bad now
Great looking truck, the front bars like that look tough.
Saw you about mate, would love to see an update here mate, how are the Portals fairing mate.
Sweet ride bud
The Datto is getting better all the time. IP and injector renew gave it new legs, tune up to maximise power shortly. New lights here and there, new timber tray sides with ally protection inside, Superior arms, all new suspension, more winch mods., Nitto Mud Grapplers arrived today.

So....it continues to devour money, but continues to get better and better!
Nice will be very interested to hear what you thin of the Nittos, they present really well! look like they will work well.
New tyres fitted today. Bit noisy, but I didn't buy it as a boulevard cruiser!!

From the night shot looks like some serious under body lighting required.
Mark French is a great bloke, and his knowledge and finesse to detail is second to none.
Some mad trucks rolled out of Marks headquarters over the years,
I brought one of those rubber winch savers , would not like to be hit in the scone by one,
maybe USA heads are harder, better that than a lump of steel
Nice truck....
