Thanks Kallen, mate the best way to explain what I do is send you to www.specialisedtrailertransport.com its a small transport service Ive been working on for a couple of years now.
Starting to build momentum now with most of my work word of mouth.
I drive the Hume every week and cause Im not in a big truck I can take detours with ease, so have a think on freight with these winches Im happy to do a mega drop on my rounds!
Very nice. Well I recon that would be a great little option for anyone in the vic and NSW areas.
How far north will you go I guess?

Im in Brisbane tonight mate, Rockhampton in two weeks time. Im in Adelaide later this week,,,,,,,,,,,
Righto Dudes and Dudettes, after having a think on these winches what Ive come up with is a "group" freight deal.
I'm prepared to transport these for a standard price per unit. I travel the Eastern states almost weekly and can divert (with-in reason) with minimum fuss.
So if your looking at taking advantage of Westy's great deal PM me or better still text me your address and details and Ill put together a delivery run.
It may take a week or two for me to get to all destinations, but rest assured I will hand deliver your unit.
Cost per unit will be capped at $25.00 per unit.
Keep the shiny side up Dudes,,,,,,,,,,
The BigFella.
What rd do you use mate the hume or princess??
Hey Kallen, Just a note to let you know that my computer is "On the Fritz" . I'm using my wife's machine at the moment. If you have any questions about my illegible diagram, when it turns up, give me a quick call and I'll ring you back.
To easy mate.

Ok guys, a firm 1 more...
If you guys like I can get the ball rolling, get the final price and start taking payments.
I'll need winch payment first, then once landed I can get firm postage prices and then the postage can be paid.
Now with payment, if going PayPal please be awear there will be a $11 fee for the initial winch payment. But you get buyer insurance..
I prefer money transfer, but ill leave that to the buyer..
So, get it rolling?

Sounds good on my behalf, $370 for the 12000lb was the rough estimate yeh?? I say confirm the price for us and maybe send a PM to every1 just incase they missed the thread mate!
I usually use Paypal but ever 1 here seems to be trustworthy so when your ready to order shoot me a PM with your BSB and ACC no. it usually takes from 1 to 3 days to clear. And just 1 last thing, what was the time frame from the time you make the order to you receiving the 10 units??
If the timing is right I may drive down to pick it up and detour through Robe/Beachport for a bit of play in the sand for couple of days.
righto westy, after a short exploration yesterday, finding out my current which has basically shat its return function, im keen for a new one :) so count me in.
oh and for one of the big 12000lb ones too :)
You better post up some firm prices Kallen, just for us old farts,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Bummer.. lol. Well its currently Chinese New year so there shut till the 16th...
There coming by sea (cheapest postage by far), so I'd say its likely we'll see a 4 week turn around from order day, give or take a week for weather etc..
As for firm price, its basically the aud that'll affect it, so ill calculate a fixed price tonight. I'll pm everyone on the list and then work threw emails from there.
Also a side note, TPC noticed the weights of the winches look to back to front. I have sent an email but due to being shut ill have to wait for a reply.
Anything else people would like to know or confirm before placing the order feel free to ask guys.
Cheers

No worries Kal'. Will do...............or maybe i should hold out and see what the next deal is lol.
mmmm they say good things come to those who wait...... Will see what i can do
Do the winches make you dinner aswell ???
In that case i'll take 2 lmao!!
Hey Kal, have you tested the winches yet ??
Negative mate. That's why I'm ordering 2 spare units. So any issue I will deal with the company, and save you the fuss.
An electrician and I will be testing each unit before sending them out, so I should be able to guarantee they will work when you get them..
Not sure about making dinner, but the could persway the missus into cooking it...;)

I can't Personally check them, if I did it would be second hand then hay... :p
I did a lot of research before settling with this company, ot wasn't the cheapest, bit they had the best (least) failure and return rates. And offer the best warrenty layout.
I see why companies charge $1000+ for these things, the amount of time I've put into it would have exceeded that well and truly.. but hay, I'm always out to help people...

I understand that and i think you might have mentioned something like that before, you might have miss understood what i meant. I was meaning are you going to try and break 1 12000lb'er and 1 9500lb'er and not each individual unit?? That would be fun to watch lol
The company has shown me videos of the 2 winches in action, they didn't actually fail the tests, the motors actually stall and burn out at more than 5 times the rated capacity.. they are one tough unit...
I tried to repost them but it was protected with a copy lock or something like that..

Fair enough mate thats good to know that they are a tough unit but after the warranty has expired how hard is it to buy replacement parts like brushes, breaks, solenoids ect ect??
I don't mean to break em mate, i'm just having a bad case of" you don't know until you ask the question" lol
