Yeah No Dramas Kallen thanks again 👍🏼
I read a while ago (a number of years I think) that one batch of aldi winches were re-branded iron-man winches.
Depends who aldi get a good deal from.
Check it out on the net and some of the other forums have discussions on them.

I ran two Aldi winches on two Prado's over ten years. Never had an issue with either one. If the Warn ever died on my Patrol I would not hesitate replacing it with an Aldi unit. I think the most important thing with the cheaper winches is to pull them apart when new, replace the grease with quality stuff, and apply a bead of sealant on all gaskets/seals.
Theres a mob at the back of Tullamarine Park drive that see 12,00lb winches for about $400
Place is called Radum they import chinese equipment like pipe benders,, 12t press'sPlenty of gear
thats for sure
I have just purchased the domin8er just need to figure how to install on a factory bullbar.
Just wondering if anyone has the new domin8r x winch and if so can you rotate the gear box i read some where that you cant bit just thought id ask the question.
Cheers in advance
Not sure how new the one you're talking about is, however I bought one over a year ago and you could rotate them. I did a write up on installing into a std Nissan winch bar. You'll also find a thread on installing into an alloy bar using a winch cradle if you have a search.
Only just had it delivered ill check out your post and take it from there.
Thanks
