New battery, new terminals, new earth cables. Lucky I attacked this job as a few things were corroded big time. The tray under the battery had surface rust which I cleaned up and flooded with Lanolin. Even found some tools under there. Both - and + terminals were in not a very good condition so, I'm glad I replaced those.
If things were this bad up the battery end, I hate to think what they're like at the starter motor and alternator end... Those are next on my list.
Things you find under your battery ...

Earth strap that went from battery to body to motor was corroded to the shit. The copper was all green and brittle.

New earth strap lugged and heatshrunk.

End result.
These terminals work really well. But, are not very good if you have a few accessories added to it as it ends up a un-tidy looking job. Even though I'm glad I fixed a lot of the corroded cabling etc, the end cabling/terminal job ended up messier than I began with.
I'm thinking of adding a distributor box next to the battery for some of the accessories.
