Tell me , i was crapping lol but very happy now and the rig is pretty much as i want it for the moment , will do a little more through the year , but basically setting it up for a long service trip
I had the same problem with mine, easy fix.
They tend to go better with the Snorkel fitted to, which I see yours has!
Ive got a 2011 model auto and they are slugs mate.
well seems to go pretty well now , so all happy
Good to ear it was only something simple as suggested.
phew, Ive just done 4900 ks since new in mine (manual) and really happy with the performance, I can feel it getting more power as the weeks go on. fyi i was getn 12.6 litres at 2000ks, and at 4000 im now averaging 11.8 litres. Yep more power less fuel. Id be interested to see how yours does so keep us posted if you dont mind.
just quickly
I had a vibration under the dash, told them straight away but advised them to leave it with me as i was puttin a new stereo and speakers in, removed the glove box, stereo, flhs pillar cover, it got louder so i was onto it, drove down hume upside down tryin to locate it, missus recons it was the nissan snorkel, i said air vent, had it back to Nissan twice, Found the problem, the snorkel inner tube inside the guard was mounted 1mm from it, Just as well i was right about the snorkel ey. you know the story....
just thought id mention it, just incase, pretty sure ARB prob did yours too
Congrats and enjoy old steve.
Howdy Smoothrun , no my snorkel is genuine Nissan , no noises or rattles , very happy now that's sorted out and it goes well , using around 13.5 litres per hundred at the moment , but only done 1300 ks , I have one small issue , which is a wheel alignment , but the bloody suspension place should have done it when I got the springs fitted , well lesson learned there , but all in all iam very happy ill keep intouch as its good to know people with the same age newbies
cheers Steve
