The one from TigerzII and Roosystems is rubbish with the spacings of the cross bracing much wider than the one i have. they seem to have 4 feet but only 8 cross supports including the front and back. I would not buy one.
The one above from @GUte looks near identical to the ebay one i got through the link that Drew posted. I bought the first one that they imported. straight out of the container.. The guy did the walk down the middle test of the one he was setting up for display. I like the fact that there are 4 feet per side. I did have to buy new bolts for it as i found them too short.
Dont get me wrong i have walked on mine. I have certainly got up there and walked the length of it. I respect though that it is Alloy and i weigh in at about 120kgs and have No Expectation that it should handle my weight in a Point load.
I have had my rack fully loaded with Fire wood stacked 4 feet high for its length. I have had a smaller bloke (80kg) jump up on top thinking it was a steel rack and walk up the middle without hesitation.
When i did the Madigan Line i made up a Holder out of 240x19pine that spanned across the rack from edge to edge that i fitted a box to that held 3 x 20 jerry cans in the middle of the rack, a roof bag in front of that with a Spare tyre and all the spares, my Oz Tent and fold up trestle. And added Fire wood each day as we traveled for fire each night.. It did it with ease.

So i ran 42x19 strips across underneath the 240x19 and screwed straight through to clamp this holder in position. I whipped this up quickly in the shed with what i had about but man it worked soooo well.
The space between was determined by the uprights as a piece of 240 was placed each side of the 3rd upright, this also aloud for the tie down to access the cross brace to hold the jerries in position. Worked a treat.

You know if you're going to go to the lengths to make a video showing how good your product is then you have to make it believable. I was all for it until I watched the bloke carrying out the testing with the lever action tension tests. It looks like he has a "back yard" style setup for the testing.
No protection for him, if he had a professional setup with breakaway protection he would give off more confidence in his product. If any part of that rack gave out while he was conducting the test it would take his head off.
I mean no offence Rickie3, as long as you're happy that's all that matters. I just don't see them being as good as he's making them out to be..
Am I wrong?
I think I have a really old arb/tjm ally rack with four brackets each side but it also has a solid bit of ally flat bar that sits in the gutter under the four brackets for the whole length of the rack! Great for spreading the load. Just wondering if the new arb ones do this? Can you still get something like it to help spread the load?
