Why toyota at all?
My opinion mitsubishi 4m40 much better than 1KZ.
1. its already with intercooler
2. have you ever saw 4m40 with crack in the head of cylinders? For rd28t and 1kz its usual.
3. 4m40 has a chain gear for cam shaft, rd28 and 1kz has a belt.
My brother's Pajero running much faster against my Safari and his bloody mitsu (5 doors) not heating in mountains at all.
