Do people fall for this???

Might have to get onto that now then.

problem is they send out millions of emails and letters all across the world. someone will fall victim. and thats the motivation to keep doing it. ppl need to smarten up.

One scam that is still occurring is you get a phone call and the scammer claims they are from Microsoft and they have detected errors with your windows system they then get you to install a program called team viewer which gives them access and control of your computer. Then I assume they just watch your computer hoping you use interned banking etc.
My father in-law almost fell for this one, Luckily he called me to ask about the errors I told him that Microsoft has like 2 billion users and will never call an individual user.
Rule of thumb if any one contacts you, be suspect of them.
