Ay quick q NN in regards to the gear gq gearbox. Is there a way to inspect internals visually with out pulling it out, or half the car apart?

Not really. You can't access all the bolts from the top while its in the car and there isn't enough room to remove the top either. Is yours playing up?
3rd jumps out once gearbox is warm under de-acceleration. I saw a while back a bloke posted the same with his 3rd and 5th gears. Found 2 bits in the bottom and the were said to be clips to hold the gear in..?
So I assume I have a similar issue.
But after half a million of long drives I just wanna check 5th for any signs of abnormal wear.

Sorry bud got super busy at the end of the shift. Maybe check that the stick isn't fouling on the body, like where the sticks come through. If it was popping under load then I'd say you had bigger issues but its only coming out when load is taken away you could also the the shifter bush to make sure it doesn't have excessive play. Other than that it might be a box out jobbie.
Yea its been happening for a while, before I did the lift so I can rule that out.
Yea sincro rings are all still good..
The stick is very sloppy so I might do the stick ball swivel thing.. see if that makes it better
