random happening of the evening:
was watching some vids on youtube about fox whistling with tenterfield whistles - my partner's cat has been running around the house looking out the windows trying to find the distressed rabbit. The funny thing is that the cat has never really been outside and has definitely never met a rabbit before.
It's called instinct.
You can have chickens locked up for a hundred generations, none of them ever seeing a fox.
Yet put a picture of a fox near by and they go crazy, why, instinct.
