Twas 1999 George but the Kangas beat us by 35 to win the flag.

'99? Really?? Shite i was 12 lol i remember it like yesterday!! It was a warmish saturday arvo and there was 4 of us at work 3 carlton me, my dad and my uncle 1 don my dads mate, we dropped all the tools at the first bounce and where glued to the radio till we got that last goal on the siren and me and my uncle started cheering and jumping around like a pair of ferals lmao cant remember the granny tho haha.

Last game i went to was last july when we played Richmond, my mate got me on the field to help hold up the banner and front row of the cheer squad on the pompoms hahaha. The following week i flew to brissy and bought my trol!! AND to top it off i was i a plane full tigers fans and in typical collywoble fashion my mrs tell one of them that was in full colors who i barrack for !!!

I was at the G that day.....a very dark day indeed.....I was so pissed off I couldn't bear to be in Melbourne so I jumped on the bike and shot over to Adelaide to stay with my brother until GF was all over.
Blues were never going to win that year and we'd recently towelled up the Kangas.....that was one that got away....
Still bitter about that to this day! LOL
