I think turborooster might be after a pipe that goes side to side level with the tops of the rear seats - might or might not be something to do with where the splits in the rear seat back are. Doubtless turborooster will clarify........Quote:

The factory hole in the cargo barrier locates the strap hori2ontally, so the strap can't drop into the gap between the seat backs.
Only need the kid seat for another 4 months, woo hoo!!
I am chasing a 4 pinion open rear centre for a gq patrol. These a rare but not impossible to get. Were used on military spec vehicles. If you know of 1 or have 1 pm me.

The bar goes between the top seat belt holes of the 3rd row seat if that helps. My patrol is a series 1 so doesnt have any bolt holes. Thanks guys

There's a few Alloy ones on Ebay ATM but they are SWB so hopefully you get it sorted for the Christmas break.

Heres my VN Airbox Upper and Lower installed into my 1988 GQ.
They used to be around $40 for both Upper and Lower.

At this stage the car was running straight LPG through an EFI intake manifold with the injector holes plugged.
Up to VS I think are the same except VS has a sensor hole in the upper which will need to be plugged if you dont have the sensor filling the hole.
I later installed the factory GQ airflow meter in one of these by enlarging the inlet hole and drilling new mounting holes. Luckily there is enough area to allow you to do this as the Factory Airflow meter is quite a bit larger.
Also worthy of note is the filter element is identical to the Factory GQ patrol EFI one.
