Due 2 me frying my lappy the other week in the electrical storm we had :( and not having a backup of the members map that I know of :( this thread will be closed until I work out if I do have a backup or if I can get the info back from google maps.

The map and data is with Google so have you forgotten your log in details to your google account or were those log ins on your lappy?

Finally, the members map is back up and running and all members that have posted there location before I closed the thread and those that have sent me a pm have been added.

The map is a little different to the old map, you will see a blank map 2 start with, you will have to select the State you want 2 view and them zoom in wish can be done either by oving the map 2 where you want it and selecting the + sign or by clicking on a member listed in the State.

The linking 2 view Members details or send them a PM direct from the map works but unfortunately when Google moved the map over 2 the new system I lost the embedded link and shows the whole link now :(

Think that's about it and hope you all enjoy being back on the map as a lot of blood, sweat, bourbons, beers and a lot of swearing went into getting this back up and running :(

Mate there are courses that you could do in the field that you like if you cant get to TAFE or what ever they call it now
try a computer course at home

Howdy all, the members map has changed to Google Earth only so 2 view the map you will need Google Earth installed, click on the link bellow then either save the file and open in Google Earth or just Open in Google Earth when asked. It will open under your Temporary places and can be kept or deleted
