After seeing your workshop, i think you would feel rather claustrophobic at my place anyway, i have to move my car outside to open the doors, and if i put the front & rear bars on, i cant shut the garage door with the car inside. :frown:
Ill be giving the rebuild a good smack over easter,(weather permitting), if i get enough done, ill book for the inspection (written off vehicle) next week, these places normally have a very long waitng list (sometimes months), so you have to book in before its "all" finished, if i get stuck preparing for this date, ill put the call out for assistance.

Made a start on the outside, bolted the gaurds on, used all stainless bolts this time as the last two times id removed the gaurds, the bottom bolts had all rusted....

Replaced the gaurd side indicators with clear versions, i think they look much better...

Its starting to look pretty good now, and almost looks like a car again.
I still find myself spending 20 min just looking at the paint after ive finished working on it, its so great to be happy with the car, and enjoy looking at it again :smile:

Oh yeh, i got some new treads for it as well, they are 305/70/16 KM2s, i also bought some factory GU alloys from another Steve on the forum (thanks steve) , these wont go on till its all registered, but should aid in getting me over things without damage (or get me further into things causing damage ?,lol)

That looks fantastic..... From one extreme to the other.... The rusty bolt thing is a bit of a worry though!! Or is that just a "its been on the beach" thing??

Before i put the front passenger seat in, i fitted this folding meal tray id removed from a kia carnival, it has its own gas strut, so you just pull it and it pops up, push it down and it stays in the stow away position.

Seems to hold a fair bit of weight, more than enough for what my daughter will ever put on it, food, drinks, drawing, dvd player etc.
