did you all get the storm on sunday avo down at park and how heavy was it???? it drop here just as i finished putting the camper away perfect timeing LOL.
Only a little bit of rain. Just as i was packing up and stopped when we were just about finished. I thought it was a brave thing the park guy said befor he left, leaving the park in there hands.... Any thing could and would have happened.
Silver and I could not get up that creek crossing, front approach angle issues, which being just below our camp provided plenty of entertainment.
I can say that 04OFF's ascent was spectacular.
I can also say that on Saturday I saw a fairly standard looking old Paj with a fairly standard looking older driver that made it look easy. I think there is a bloke on here who now has a GU that reckons his Paj was pretty hot - well, this one had the goods, and a good driver. So there must be at least two out there. Looking at the control and lack of spin I'd say it had lockers though.
He-he, thanks Silver, no one will ever suggest i dont know where the loud pedal is !
Spent a few hours on the panels with a hammer last night, its a bit lumpy because its the raw metal (no bog yet) with white seal coat to stop rust, but should come up ok with a bit of filler and decent paint, least i can open my drivers door all the way now !

Also re fitted the tail light i ripped out in the play area :frown:
I think a set of Sliders are long overdue, so who wants to make me some ? :hpfredgeorge1:
Good job mate a bit of a battle scar is also a yarn!!
It was a great trip indeed! I arrived about midday on Sunday just for a day trip and ended up staying the night thanks to all who accommodated me Heaps of fun. I managed to rip the rear of my exhaust off should be an easy fix came off from the join under the wheel arch. Looking forward to the next trip we can make it too ( pending on jenni's work) and I'll plan to stay an extra day than planned just in case!
We had a great trip too. It was nice to meet a good bunch of blokes (including a couple with a few loose screws  :1087:).
Looking forward to the next trip.
Here is a little panorama photo of the trucks in a row.

I just found a rear door flare for mine to replace the one that was damaged on ebay. Aftermarket one for $95, not bad when Nissan are asking $380 without the rubber trim parts.
bloody maddening isn't,,,,, how can an after market company price a part dirt cheap but the genuine part which apart from a brand name is identical can be so friggin much????? totaly unjustifiable!!!! had the same issue when i shashed one of the blank lights on the rear of my GU you have my sympathies!!! good job on finding the part on ebay.
