Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi,
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mad,
Tros ryddid collasant eu gwaed.
Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad,
Tra môr yn fur
I'r bur hoffbau,
O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.
Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd,
Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn, i'm golwg sydd hardd;
Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si
Ei nentydd, afonydd, i mi.
Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad,
Tra môr yn fur
I'r bur hoffbau,
O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.
Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwlad dan ei droed,
Mae hen iaith y Gymry mor fyw ag erioed,
Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad,
Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.
Gwlad, gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad,
Tra môr yn fur
I'r bur hoffbau,
O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.
The old land of my fathers is dear to me,
A land of poets and singers, famous men of renown;
Her brave warriors, patriots,
For freedom they lost their blood.
Country, country, I pledge to my country,
While sea her wall
The pure hoffbau,
O may the old language endure.
Old mountainous Wales, paradise of the poet,
Every valley, every cliff, loveliness;
Through patriotic feeling, so charming
Its streams and rivers to me.
Country, country, I pledge to my country,
While sea her wall
The pure hoffbau,
O may the old language endure.
If the enemy oppresses my land under his foot,
The old language of the Welsh is as alive as ever,
The muse is not hindered by the hideous hand of treason,
The harp of my country survives.
Country, country, I pledge to my country,
While sea her wall
The pure hoffbau,
O may the old language endure
When's the footy start???
Not long, NAB cup has started now....If Rossco was around we would be placing bets already I reckon...lol
I'll bet Frevola is sacked by brisbane and quickly rewarded for his bad behaviour by another club giving him a lucrative contract in Melbourne.
Tim
Fev's gone for sure, If the Lions keep him on again then "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice on me, fool me three times, It's gotta be Fev!!! ....I'm so happy the blues pissed him off....Great skills, great player but just a tool...With such a great opportunity in life c'mon Fev....Just pull your bloody head in!!!
Some useless info on Fellova:
A DISAPPOINTED Brendan Fevola could launch legal action against the Brisbane Lions if they terminate his contract this week.
Fevola is still being treated in a Brisbane rehabilitation clinic and has been kept in the dark since a series of off-field incidents put his playing future in jeopardy.
Fevola offered a short comment when asked if his career at the Lions was over: "They literally haven't told me anything," he told the Sunday Herald Sun. "I have no idea what's going on."
Sources close to Fevola say he would consider suing the Lions for the remaining two years of his contract.
The club would be looking to split the $1.9 million - not $1.5 million as has been reported - over two years but Fevola wants it paid immediately.
The troubled star advertised his services as a full-forward on Facebook yesterday, but it was later removed.
Despite the threats, he desperately wants to save his AFL career.
It's believed Fevola is also angry with the Lions after claims they went public with allegations of impropriety involving a mother of four at a club function. A police and AFL investigation into the incident cleared the 30-year-old of any wrongdoing.
Fevola would also consider heading to the US to pursue an NFL career if his AFL days are over.
A local scout working on behalf of the aspiring punter has been in touch with clubs in the US about the possibility of Fevola joining America's No.1 sport.
The former Carlton forward is also taking the drug Antabuse, also known as Disulfiram, which is a treatment for alcohol abuse.
If the drug and alcohol are consumed together it can be lethal.
Fevola has told friends that if he gets another chance he will remain sober for the rest of his football days.
One friend said Fevola's brush with police on New Year's Eve was not the catalyst for his admission to the rehabilitation centre.
"He was always headed there for a number of problems," the friend said.
The Lions' board held secret talks at AFL headquarters on Friday.
The meeting was attended by Brisbane chairman Angus Johnson and senior managers Steven Wright and Dean Warren. AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou and operations manager Adrian Anderson were also there.
Lions coach Michael Voss would not be drawn on the issue yesterday, fuelling speculation Fevola would be sacked.
"The important thing for us is the timeline. We've obviously got to make that decision soon," Voss said.
"He's at that stage where he's about to leave where he is, so that decision is going to be imminent.
"I think we've been fairly patient about how we're doing that and all our inquiries have been about how he's been tracking and is he getting some of those life things in order.
GWS coach Kevin Sheedy has ruled out the possibility of recruiting Fevola.
