Are you after a luggage box for the roof or an actual bin????? Try camping stores like bcf for the box or repco....... I'm sure there must be other places to. But if its a bin, as the others have said get one for the rear wheel.

Hi All, Jut wondering if anyone has or knows of a GU steel bar to suit 04 DX ute. Mine is almost completely made of rust. roos are stronger than rust :-\

when i bought my troll it only came with the jack, no crank for it, anyone got a spare one round the brisbane area?
Hi mate, sorry i don't have one, but just wanted to check if its a GU Wagon, and if it is, that you know the handle is actually stored under the back middle row seating , and not with the jack and tools ?
If you already know this, please excuse my post, as no way intended to insult your knowledge, its just i thought my jack handle was missing untill i discovered it by mistake under the back seat !

Chasing the hoses for the Automatic Transmission lines to radiator oil cooler ( 1991 GQ ). If any one has a spare set or second hand ones in good nick they want 2 sell or know of where to get aftermarket ones from, please let me know.
Repco and Supercheap don't list them and Nissan said 6 weeks ex Japan :(

as an interim measure put in some straight tube ones - if any of the curves are too tight, coil wire around that part of the line to help it not collapse? Or make them a bit longer and get creative with cable ties to support against adjacent bits

well, that's even easier, couple of short lengths of metal tube to fit inside the rubber pipe, a couple of short bits of appropriate rubber tube and 4 hose clamps

have you had a look on Gumtree for the bits n pieces you need mate?
I have but there isnt a huge amount and bying things like alternators I am aprehensive as you dont really know what you are bying.

iv got a alternator but its from my gu 2.8 was charging fine but has a noisy bearing
iv got a spare alt lying around but only think it needs is a new bearing was noisy but charges fine let me know if ur intrested

Im after a cheap steel winch bar for a GQ patrol, condition does not really matter as long as the centre bit of the bar and mounts are straight as ill be cutting up and modifying. Bit of rust does not freak me out either.
Would rather it be in Brisbane to Sunshine coast kind of area. Will pick up.

looking for a replacement airbox, as the one i have fitted at the moment cannot be plumbed for a snorkel.
Identical to the one in the attached pic would be great if you have 1.

Good luck finding an unexploded airbox. Bigrig modified a VN Commodore airbox and fitted that to his 4.2EFI.

HENS TEETH mate, hard to come by a second hand one, I tried a vn commo like Bigrig but ended up making my own.
I hear Nissan sell them for around $450 new replacement, also theres alloy ones for sale on Ebay also $450
The top photos are the Ebay items....... the bottom photos are the box I made up out of 2mm aluminium, nothing fancy, I just run a pod filter in there. I plan to put a snorkel on soon.

I am just eyeballing your vaccy lines, interesting? I got a few stray hoses just hangin with screws in? I can see where a couple go.....
OK right............... your snorkel will be plumbed into that hole thats in the inner guard, all you need to do is make sure theres plumbing to the airbox. Youve still got a airbox it looks like its been patched up..
If when you fit your snork you may find the vehicle runs poor on gas, so need a balance pipe.
X2 - you'll need the balance pipe from the converter to the airbox if running LPG ...Quote:
