Going for a shot tomorrow before they ban bows after this shit
http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-...#ixzz38RHpfEqz
Do bows have to be registered in Canberra?
That is appalling behavior.
....and here we go again http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-07-2...arrows/5632024
Fark heads ruining it for everyone
Ohh yeah I forgot...Had a few practice shots last weekend. This target was Attachment 47690at 30 mtrs
I've still got a bit of tuning to do as the arrows have a bit of a wobble when moving through the air
Edit: The bullseye is our local labour polititian
Yeah read about the greens push for legislation...
Anyway good shooting mate..
Bloody good for 30m..
We got out Sunday. Hit the targets for an hour or so, so 1 bloke could adjust in his new bow, then the 5 of us hit the sticks in aim for some hares.. Saw 3 but all way to skittish due to swirling wind..
Next time..
New arrows hopefully here Friday.
Went some easton powerflight 340's with blazer vains..
A nice upgrade..
Well new arrows turned up..
Very happy.
I stuck a 100mm long footing shaft on the tip. Shaft weight is 440 grains.. So with my 100grn Machanical heads or 125 fixed heads I think I have a nice little setup.
I've heard a whisper that a simple apex drop away rest is coming for fathers day.. So that should increase accuracy once dialled in.. And give a bit better range.
How's everyone else doing??
so who still hunts with a Bow? I'm moving to Brissy and keen to get out and about with a new bow haven't decided what to get yet but looking at either a Mathews or an Oneida
