I'll let you know. I like the theory of the stuff. I don't think it acts as a sound barrier, but more so is used to become apart of the panel and stops it's ability to vibrate. When tapping the wheel arches from inside the car, they already sound solid and I was skeptical as to whether I should cover them, but I did anyway. But panels that return a hollow tinny sound should benefit greatly from this stuff. Large flat panels such as the insides of doors and the rear quarter panels will benefit I'm thinking.
One day when my Patrol is not my daily I will gut the interior and go to town with sound deadener.... been for a ride in a GQ full of it and it makes a big difference!
Scrub bars,side steps, winch rope and fairlead put on, and hopefully UHF fixed with no static noise from alternator.
Truck is currently getting the works service done, engine, diffs, transmissions etc

You can stuff acoustic batts inside the Quarter panels makes a huge difference as well.
Don't buy full bag see if they have broken bags you can buy.
