Rossco and I told him to go through the middle where it's deeper, but he decided to go even deeper!
Looks awesome so the Damage report , ABs steering arm, one tyre destroyed,
one fan belt and whatever is up with Mudski. not too bad
Two tyres actually, Bryden lost an MTZ, stick through the sidewall.
@ winnie how was the new set up, impressed or does it need a little tweek
Got home all good last night, jumped in the shower (awesome) then had some dinner. Big thanks to all that came I had an absolute ball. Thanks to all those that helped out with the winching of my car, after this weekend I have had to re-assess my mods list and a decent tune up and tyres have now moved right to the top. It's amazing how you can spend a whole weekend out in the bush with a bunch of ppl you have only just met but still feel as though you have known each other for ages. Well done to Winnie for organising the trip and especially the trip in. It was unreal to start the weekend in such a way. Have to go drop the kids off school and unpack then drop off the chains in Croydon so once I have done that I will upload the couple hundred photos I have.

My poor beast abused!!!
I had to drive home with "I don't like jam donuts" and "I love bloodyaussie" written all over my car. Felt so dirty.
How did ya's go with the exit to the river on B1?
Was a good track gunna go in the way we came out next time LOL.
We had to cut a couple of tree's of the track, thought about putting one back over knowing you guys were behind us but decided that was to much work.
Came looking for you guys on Friday arvo went all the way down to horseyards but couldn't find you so just went back to camp.
We did not get to camp until Friday night. Bloody awesome track that was mate! Glad we got you on the radio. Superb track!
I would like to thank everybody for making us Pete (despite his attempt at a landcruiser joke!) and myself feel welcome on the weekend, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and felt comfortable spending time with you all. I would encourage all members to not be afraid to go on a members meet up. The way you backup and look after each other puts many 4x4 clubs to shame. They could learn a lot from you. thanks Gary.
P.S. How do I load video of the river crossing?
Cheers for the kind words Gary, great to meet you two as well.
The forum can't host videos only pics but you can upload them to Youtube and then paste the link here or press this button http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forum...itor/video.png and paste the Youtube link in there and it will embed the video into the forum.
If you don't use Youtube just email it to me mate and I will upload it for you. info@nissanpatrol.com.au
Thanks Gary, was great to meet you and Pete too. And Matthew as well, all great guys and look forward to seeing you guys on the next trip too. Nothing worse than a new guy coming along and being very shy but you guys all got yourselves involved in the conversation well, was like we had all known each other a lot longer than a couple of days!
It was a short time meeting you Gary, thank you for offering the slave cylinder for my clutch too. Yes they're all great people, fun time we had. Just spewing about leaving early. My clutch pedal went foobar, had this terrible grinding, rotational noise coming from under the hood aswell. Thought it was the idler bearing as it was dry as when I removed it. Fixed that, still have the noise. Sounds like the bearings in the a/c pump as I spun that as it felt like that might be where its coming from, plus the pulley feels a little loose, spray some crc in it and now the sound is gone. Hopefully it will hold up until I get a new pump, or if I can fix this pump???
Now back to work. Ugh!
Had another great weekend with you lot! I now have an Army of Vic guys that will stand proof of the GQs existence. I even got a pic of Winnie drawling over it on the Helipad ;)
Thanks for another quality meetup. No bullsh1t around the fire, no Cliquey crap in camp or on the tracks. Already better than a club I have been a member of for many years.
Zach is made to feel welcome by everyone and its just great to go driving.
Cheers guys
What GQ? I don't remember you driving a GQ?
@ Mudski does your gearbox noise still exist??

Here's our awesome effort of straightening the tie rod. Someone's got a pic of it before somewhere and you'll be shocked by how bent it was.
Rossco has got the pics mate... It's pretty straight now, just leave it! Bahahaha
Here's a photo of Darren telling us to pull over on the way home. All buggered and falling asleep...
Nekminut Dazz pulls out hit jam donuts!

I am still so tired and need another 18 hours sleep!!!!
Friday and Sunday were the pick of days for the most epic tracks and Saturday was more about snow and rescuing Kev..... I got bombarded by snow balls helping Zack get his snow board back only to have the little bugger throw one at me as I got near the top so I threw his board back over the edge and made him go and get it himself..
Kris managed to get suckers to try his chili and everyone that tried did there best impression of someone that was not bothered at all.... yeah bull shit!!!
Sunday was EPIC with some brilliant tracks and gob smacking scenery........
I love the company and friendship on these trips and truly enjoy every minute even when its day 3 and I am getting tired and grumpy!!!
There is so much to tell but I cant think right now...
Have to thank Winnie for the trip and Rossco for hooking in with his saw to get us through.... also Roofy for cleaning up after us!!!!

Cool photos BA!!!!
Here's a pretty crappy little vid but this hill was extremely slippery and with no momentum you got messed up and couldn't reverse back over the washout to start again and slipped back into the sloppy concrete washout drain and had no hope of getting back on the high side to get back up.
Credit to Kris, he did get back up on top after this vid and made it out himself.
After this hill it just kept on going up with 2 or 3 more washouts and slippery climbing.....Great fun!
