Well alot of things have been going on with my rig
End of July car rolled off on its own down a hill n wedged its self between 2 tree's
Punching drives door n guard and snapping everthing under its front end and totaling smashing the shit out of drivesand passenger floor pan
All this happened on Saturday around 2ish so i 2nded up spending the night out bush on my own in zero temp in the snow as everyone else went home to get recover cars n a trailer to tow it home

COPY AND PASTING ALL THESE OFF NOTHER FORUM
Well the Rebuild/Repair has started on smurf
First up was getting it back on its wheels witch following was needed
New Front diff
New Front radius arms
New Radius Mushroom bushes
New Drag Link
New Tie Rod
New Panhard Rod
New Brake Line
And New Shocks n Coils witch in thise case i bought hole new lift kit as old kits had seen better days.
Once it was on its wheels i washed it as couldnt wash it in the shed
Now its clean ive started reparing the Floors n front of the body under front guards we all GQs are weak as shit under there n ive had cracks there for while.

Well started repairing all the cracks at front of the body as we all no GQ front ends are weak as hell up front.
First off i plated over the hole that was cut for the snokel n shit job at that :shock: was cracking all the way around it :roll:
So i thought why not plate the hole and put the snorkel though the bonnet as ive always like style. 8)

Well front left is all finished n painted i welded a total of 20 cracks on that one side :shock:

Heres pics of how rooted drives floor is ive tried fixing it but i cant needs to be done by shop that has all the right tools

Well took smurf to a Mates Mate Custom Hot Rod shop Friday arvo so he could repair drives floor
At first we thought we cut floor out n put new section in but once car was there he was like id be able to get that floor back to shape with Ozy n Hammer n body shaping tools
So its all done all Cracks n Holes where closed up n welded up we didnt had any new plate at all
All i gotta do now is wire wheel the floor had seemfiller where its now done n paint floor so i can get back to cleaning up body for respray.

Well smurf come hom in morning so was able to hit it with wire wheel n coat it with loads of Sound Deadener on inside and Body Deadener on out side.

With that done i started sanding body back for its fresh paint to go down but die to me starting a new job tomorrow witch takes me away on for work i wont be doing much more on it till weekend witch sucks but working part of life.

wow! what a mighty effort. Good to see no one got hurt. At least now you've got your new lift and welded up all those cracks, she'll be back bigger and better than before. And good to see if your going to do a job you do it properly! not content with some panel damage lmao
