Fitted an alarm and remote central locking unit to the GQ. Thought it was going to be a headache but it was actually relatively simple, especially having a the manual on hand. Thank god for colour coded wires. Made the job effortless. Happy with my efforts, I was missing central locking...

Hey Parksy, was thinking about doing the same. Which brand of alarm did you go with (if you're not giving too much away)?

Sure happy to answer any questions. Was just an alarm off eBay. Came with 4 actuators but only needed the one for the drivers door. Most of the wiring can be reached from behind the center dash panel. If you ever get around to it send me a pm.
