If I could pick one fault on that tanto is I'd like the blade to be a bit thicker,
feels a bit light in the hand to me. Still a nice Tanto

@ OD check out Bucks site in the States you can now customize any knife. by
selecting bolsters, pins, blade style/colour.hardness etc ,even engraving
these are 3 x 110 I customized as an example
Nice, I new that option was coming from Buck Knives but wasn't aware it had been bought in yet.
The Tanto style knife you just got (SR knifes) is based off the Trakker style blades.
I did just get the MTech Call of Duty "Ghost" knife, that's 1 hell of a sturdy blade, full tang and around 4 mm thick.
Also got the Gerber "Strong Arm" knife come in the other day, not quite as heavy as my LMFII but just as good.

This is the Gerber Strong Arm. Mines black and not tan and also has no serrations on the blade.

As you customize your knife the price adjust as well. my son has a nickle bolster 110
and Buck told me it was a custom knife, We brought it on line from that mob in Tassie.
Thinking thats a keeper now,
Love that blank cant use natural scales it will have to be man made IMO

I find the LMF a bit clunky for my delicate paws, perhaps the Strong arm would suit me well.
I'll have to look into it. I wonder if anywhere does christmas sales on these.

Gerber do a Bear Grylls version that is a smaller version of the LMFII which may be better for you, if you go back through this thread, I posted up comparison pics of both of them side by side.Quote:
