Ceramic "steel" arrived very happy with the feel of it.
Now no excuse for dull knives here. Actually they are all
razor sharp except the GLW's kitchen knives. Thats another story lol
Nice set, not a big fan of the Forsyth knives as they're a very cheap make and generally not the best finish. Gecko and I both have some and looking at modifying them later on and turn them into hopefully something more used.
Never underestimate the power of the tap, let it flow through you.
Was just BA was after a budget set of skinning and boning knives,
can't go past that price regardless,I think.
@ OD knew I had a Boker knife somewhere,
tuff little skinner imo
My Timber Rattler folder has arrived 18" OA
Total wall hanger, cant see any practical use for it.
Fancy pulling this out of one of your side draw sheaths lol
That is 1 insanely big arsed knife lolol, need a damn claymore scabbard strapped across your back to carry it

Quickly called into Kmart last night with the missus and stumbled across a new multi-tool that has just been released by Jackeroo for $12.
Family basic but has a standard knife, saw blade, file, flat tip and Phillips screwdrivers and a combo axe / mallet head.
Curiosity got the better of me so I bought 2 of them, 1 for me and 1 for munchkin to put in his pack when he goes out scrub.
Surprisingly sturdy with a bit of weight for a small item, you won't be able to cut larger stuff but at a pinch when it hits the fan you could cut through 2-3" branches. Knife blade is reasonably sharp out of the pack but needs finishing but axe head is pretty blunt and needs finishing.
