Bassalt Knob South won't be as fun as it normally is. When I was last up that way a few months ago it has been bulldozed closed. It might have just been done to close it off while they grade it. I guess we'll find out in October. Can do Billy Goats bluff and Blue Rag Range track in the same day. Dunno where we are going though.....the High Country is a big place......
Tip tip tip......tap tap tap....
That last clip is of Army track and unfortunately that is in an area near the Thomson Dam that was burnt out during last years fires. I was up there about a month ago and though Army was driven, we later discovered the area was closed and had risked big fines if we were caught. Wasn't well sign posted though.
Tip tip tip......tap tap tap....
Mate, if we're gonna be in the vicinity you've gotta do those 2 tracks. Not real tough (though Billy Goats is quite rough, not difficult) they should still be on the bucket list to drive as the views really are sensational.
I'm sure though, you'd be able to ride shotgun and be winch bitch with Benny or Daz for some extreme stuff and go do a couple of the iconic tracks too.
Should be a cracker of a weekend.
Tip tip tip......tap tap tap....
Yeah you're right, blue rag should be onmy bucket list. Would be great to do a day of touring and a day of harder stuff but as I said, I will be happy and grateful where ever we go:-)
Had an accident at my mates shed. Bean bags split open!
Got sick of Motorculture so gone back to Tappa
Is that your girlfriend Winnie?
@ Winnie how'd the dog go with the bean bag spill , get any stuck up his nose?
My computer works....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trol packed, mates arriving, about to hit some tracks. Been pretty rainy, the rivers are up and the mud is thick.
And the thing that's made me the happiest? My mate that just bought a hilux is coming along for his first outing........ And I get to watch the slow realisation creep across his face as he realises that I was right about hiluxs and he was so, so wrong
:-):-):-)
As soon as he gets stuck you gotta chant gutlux lowlux gutlux lowlux bwahahaha
Is going to be funny. My GQ and my mates mav are nothing big but have a lift and 33s, the other guys lux is standard height with 30" no terrains lol...... He's already saying "give me your tyres and I'll give it a go".... We haven't even left my house yet! Haha
Nancy blouse and his gutlux

BWAHAHA looks like I got pre-approval for the leave for Simmo next year BOO YAH, just gotta wait for the manager to sign off on it
That I have learned that an Rb30 can sit on 5000 rpm (and occasionally 6500) all day And has plenty of grunt to pull a camper up a mountain. (Pics to come when I get more data later this week)
Yea mate, red line it just a guide. Most engines have cut outs to protect them.. But they can safely rev at those speeds all day..

happy ,as I just realised why I have so much boost, Patrol is flying but boost is spiking at 25psi.
Constant 20Psi foot flat, then the penny dropped,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Since fitting new tigged IC I've been
driving for economy so taking it very easy, sadly I'll have to take some boost out and drive hard
then see what happens. First twigged when sitting on 2000 rpm boost was 12psi, but like I said
I''ll reduce the boost and see what happens, sad part is its running fine,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Nek minnit.... Kaboom! Lmao
Spoke to cross country and I will have my intercooler this week, and I'm booked in with diesel tec in two weeks time
