Think when I did the sums a while back, it was costing me about 50c a round to reload 223.
Bear in mind that's 50c with once fired brass, so basically a custom glove fit for the chamber with premium powder and a nosler ballistic tip projectile. So, premium round for budget price.
My 22/250 rounds I've gotta test worked out to be about 70c each using cci primers adi powder Barnes triple shock 55gn projectiles will be great once I work out powder charge seating lengths etc
Time consuming, but well worth it. I'm still tweaking my 303 rounds, but would be pretty confident knocking any game you care to mention over with em.
Was great to meet up and chat with so many of you fellow hunters at the meet on the weekend.
Still pretty new to it all but this has been a very interesting read to confirm/improve my knowledge in hunting...
Would be great to get out with a few of you some time soon
Dont worry ben you will get a chance to come and play mate!!!
Matty and I have been trying to get out for a shoot together for a while so no invites for this shoot we gave organised.. butsoon mate.
There are also some other keen shooters that were at the meet and may have to arrange a np.com shoot.
All good BA... Was just great to chat to some of the guys and get some knowledge. Not looking to jump in on pre arranged plans :)
On a similar note though I tried looking up that knife to send you a link and it seems they don't make them any more, so I might have to keep my eye on you next time!! Haha
A np shoot using inland hunting properties say central west nsw could work
