Been having issues uploading pictures again through the apps but the old man dropped an old imperial bayonet from a "Brown Bess" black powder rifle from the 1800's that he found in the south isle of NZ last week. Makers mark and stamp is a bit hard to make out at the moment but Gecko reminded me of an old muzzle loaders group at the range nearby to go and see if they can shed some more light on it.

maybe the British Red coats from the 1800s
Easy enough to identify with all the info here these days
good luck with the search, hope you have as much fun as I did
with my bayonet
Won this Rough Rider off FleaBay this morning. Will be interesting to see what it's like.

Very sweet looking knife genuine Antler or Staglon.
Stag bone handle for this one, got my eye on a slightly different variant with a gun stock bone handle
Never underestimate the power of the tap, let it flow through you.
@OD can you put some pics of the bayonet up, I'll do a bit of reseach, disregard the date on the pic
Hanging for my Kurkri to arrive
My genuine Nepalese army issue Kukri arrived, boy what a weapon,
17" long will need a sharpen, can see how these can do mass damage.
Ill put up a pic real soon it has a leather sheath and two smaller knives to sharpen it
happy as,
Very nice indeed
