looking for some of those rubber tool locks for my Fiskar axe and tomahawk, around some where. carried 16kg
to the PO the other day and now it feels like bone on bone and wont go away, getting really frustrated with the pain and my mobility ATM

EDIT:: for anyone else doing this you'll need 945mm of rod to make a 300mm circle give or take a couple of mm

Just completed v2 of the above sheath but in black with press studs and makers stamp but mc playing up again so no pics as yet

Have been getting my cow hide from DC Leather in the US, even with postage it was cheaper than buying here in Oz.

Not sure why but I have always preferred a staff to a stick... not sure about the practicality of it tho... Have seen some amazing walking sticks as well tho...
longer the stick further away from snake you are, lol saw about 1/2 doz on the side of the road that was just Saturday.

high spots then finish with the 1000 side getting very good results

Starting to make up a survival kit with compass and some other goodies
