Had a few careers - Tiler by trade - ran my own security business for a while then went into investigations before moving to corporate to work in insurance fraud. Now I work for a power company in TAS looking after their insurance & keeping my physio in business by sitting at a desk all day.
Alot more people working in the mines than I imagined. If anyone knows of any entry level jobs going, send me a message. I'm up for redundancy in the coming months and mines is high on the jobs priority list.
Started out in stores and forklift driving. Went on to Laser profile cutter machine operating for the next 13 years. Now I'm a department manager in a mail house. For those that don't know what that is, is basically some of Australia's largest companies use us to send out their bank statements, centrelink letters, medicare cheques, Telstra bills and RTA toll notices. I send out 10 million letters....a month, and that is a slow month.
