In this situation can you usually tell why it actually had the issue? I'm keen one way or the other to contribute to BA getting on the road again, but don't want him to feel he has to take a certain path. Wouldn't want to see this fixed if there is a reason it might do it again? But also if you know why it happened then fixing this engine properly might be best?

Maybe that's a stupid post. Too hard to know yet. But I want to push forward with how we can help?

Quick update..... Matfew just left and the engine is out.

I have to do dinner for Alexander then come out and take the sump off and see what it tells.

Did I mention I have a sore back.... thanks Matty for doing a lot of the monkey work.

anytime mate just glad I was able to help this time. Like I said let me know if there is anything else I can do. Financially I can't offer much at all but I am more than happy to help with time. Something I will have a bit of soon ;) xmas holidays woot lol.
