Looks really awsome Andy, worked out perfect! ! I'll have to have a look soon, need to do my ones soonish . . .
Mate those flares are awesome! I love the way you have retained such a clean, stock look, while having done some major butchering.
Cheers
Just scored some 4.6:1 GU centres...Excitement!
Now all I need to do is put all of these goodies into my GQ!!!!!!!!!!!:smiley_thumbs_up:
Wow its all happening mate. This thing will be a leathal weapon...LOL
I tell you what after a few hrs winching the other day I wish I had a 24v high mount rocket...LOL
Im just a wee bit jealous
Picked up the centres this arvo, they look in very good condition!
Dropped them off to Patrolapart along with the lockers and bearings to get all ready for install..It's happening!!!
Bloody hell Patrolapart are kicking goals. Shipload more employees and the place is pumping!
Excitement again ;)
Booked in 22nd for lockers, 4.6:1, breathers and service!
I've got folded up $100 notes that I have been putting in my wallet for months hiding it from the misses...lol
Especially with the baby, just looking out for his safety!
Our little angel is fragile honey, I need to ensure we make it up the climb safely with lockers and ratios and in the unlikely event we are stuck it is paramount we have a high mount to self recover.
It's common sense babe, every caring father with values will do the same.
I think there's an Australian Standards for this too, we don't want to break the law do we babe?
Yep and my winch would have been a lot faster too if I had wired it up properly...... WOOPS!! That job is for this weekend.
It took us about 5 hours to do the first 1.5km of that track!
Bloody hell, imagine how much quicker it would have been if we all had 4.6 ratios, twin lockers and a high mount... 2 hours max!
Would have got back to camp safely in the daylight, instead of driving those dangerous roads in the dark and the thick fog.
Damn, we all need ratios, lockers and hi mounts!
Well the alternator more than the winch. When I upgraded the alternator to 120a I did not think to upgrade the wiring to the battery, it has a 60A fuse in line. When winching under load it draws the full capacity from the alternator and popped the fuse last time, so I was winching at idle speed so not to pop the main fuse again.
I love a lockers ratios and himounts. Only way to roll. Been that way for 10years. You need 37s bar work and zero farks. Then it gets interesting.
You need to be a Sagittarian mate
