Its a kinky 3 way between you me and benny
Fair enough mate, I'm going 2 have 2 get my as! in gear and put my 4 inch back in, but will do it all legal this time around :)
Legal, schmegal ... when's the last time (honestly) you got pulled over or know someone who did??? (who wasn't driving an obviously, ridiculously illegal truck by the way). I know of a fair few trucks now that are at least, if not bigger than mine, with bigger tyres, cut wheel guards etc, etc who have never been hassled ... I'm not saying break the law, but a 4-5" lift done well with 33's and without all the "monster truck" setup will attract very little attention me thinks ...
We seriously need to talk a NSW trip Todd ... me? I'm more than happy to drive down and back even for a 2-3 day trip (days driving either side is no great drama).
The only reason I would do it properly this time around Scotty as its getting harder 2 find a mechanic that will turn a blind eye 2 a lift. I have been pulled over on numerous occasions from the boys in blue for random rbt and they had never questioned the lift, not even the fact i don't have flares on and my tires stick out noticeable :)
Mate if i had the spare dosh at the moment i would be heading up your way now 2 raid your beer fridge.....I mean for a trip :):):)
Very nice bar and light setup there Scotty, a new or modified bar in on my wish list at the moment along with about 20 other things.
time to update with the new rubber under it.
Thanks champion!!! Just fitted the new wheels and tyres also - looks a dead set treat!!!! -23 offset, so with the wider tyre gives it a heap better looking stance and really changes the look from the front end, but will post a pic of that tomorrow in daylight.

Here's one I took in the dark ... not much chop, but gives it a great stance now ...

Where's the number plate?
Tony
A slim line number plate might be the go to suit your slim line bar.
Tony
should have tried the 35's on....... you know you wanted to!
I have tried telling him in the past go 35's. Would look tough.
They would only scrub a little bit lol
You're not helping the situation old mate!!! lol
I wise man (tall, slim, mechanic type from Logan way) once told me "don't see the point anymore, tell me where I can't go with 33's that I could with 35's. ..." - for the life of me I can't recall his name ... you'd like him though, he's very similar to yourself!!!! lmao
I used to think along the same lines mate but heading down some deep ruts worn out by 35"s and watching Timbo and other vehicles cruise through on 35"s and myself try and bash through scraping the housing the whole way through has lead me to believe I really do need 35"s in my area unfortunately...
Unless I mount a snowboard that runs from the front to rear housing and you can get enough speed up to grind your way through then 35"s are a must for my area....LMAO
A couple more shots... In daylight!! lol

WOW Scotty, It's looking good.
I can't believe have much it has changed from when I last saw it.
All you need now is 35" tyres..... (just kidding).
Thats the sh!t Bigus, she looks tough as mate....... love it
bugger it lets just put a body lift in and chuck a set of 37's under it
By using the word "lets", you're implying half accountability for effort and cost ... what a lad!! Thanks mate ... I wasn't even considering 37's (nor a body lift for that matter), but seeing as I'm only paying for half and you're picking up the rest of the tab, why wouldn't I!!!! When do we start?? lmfao
