Nice edible sized Threadfin Salmon caught this morning on light tackle. Heaps of fun, and I know what I'll be having for dinner tonight!!
Yeah I've crossed Barra off my list, caught one on the Wenloc River in 83
about 750mm long, lure was black/silver 100mm long job.
But dying to get back up the top end what a magic spot, lots of great memories.
Plus Dad served there in WW2, at the 40 mile mark
Are you sure you've crossed it off?? A lot of folks aren't finished with Barra until they get the magic meterey - something which I'm yet to achieve.....Quote:

3.30 am 20-25 knts south east no fishin change of plan to work the pots again still chit just under 20 kg. so two bomb out days for me mate , but thats the life of a comerical Fisher .
