On real hot days it can creep just over half way on the temp gauge. Would not trust it in the Simpson, I need a new fan and shroud now anyway and while it's all out I will reco the fan clutch.

Doesn't necessarily mean it's your rad. The earlier td42 did have issues with the thermostats and there is mods or different types you could use. Also things like your condenser could be clogged, make sure all the rubber is in place that is inside your guards, even that the little factory bash plate thing is in place. A new fan and shroud will help as will servicing your viscous hub. A could check to know if it's your rad or thermostat is temp drop across the rad.
Yes my temps were just starting to creep up with all this hot weather we were having so pulled the radiator and shroud, it was full of crap, even the aircon condenser. Serviced the hub too and although there has been no more extreme hot temps it seems to run slightly cooler now.
Still two days of work left
Have bad varicose veins to start with, and one come up and popped a a month or so ago but stopped bleeding with pressure.
Doc said pressure and all will be good
Went to remove the compression bandage yesterday and the scab had bleed into the sock and it tore Off, making a hell of a mess and blood and crap everywhere!!
So do you mean measure the front of the radiator and the back after going for a drive?
Or top hose and bottom hose?
Top and bottom hose mate. If the bottom is cold all good if there isn't much difference between the two then your rad could be the cause
