Is he spending the weekend in the tub with Kris and Darren?

OK just working this out.

Assuming Stratford servo doesn't open until 9am, there is no point me leaving until 6:30am so I can get LPG.

This puts me in camp about 11ish on saturday morning is that too late ? Any other suggestions ?

I get about 300kms out of gas and about 150kms from my 30 litre petrol tank

I will have at least 2 x 20 litre jerries but might take 3 x 10 litres for the roof also

Worst case I do have 2 plastic 20 litre ones but they smell if I put them in the car

Top up in Sale then save your gas for the drive around fill up petrol in Dargo that will get you back to civilization

thanks roofy was thinking along those lines. LPG is such a PITA

So what time should I be aiming for on Saturday Morning? Was thinking about leaving around 5am? Which will have me there about 9am?

Edit: Sale has a 24/7 so all good, might even see if i can convince the wife to do a late night run Friday, would be like a midnight arrival though

You would get a good run along the Hwy then cut out theback of Stratford might even save a bit more

Thanks Lucus. I was thinking about that last night and was going to give than a call today. No need to now.

I'll be driving pass your place about 5. We could meet up somewhere if you like, as it looks like we are both going into Sale.

Also I see that the campsite is about 15 kms up upper dargo road. Is it signposted?
