hahahaha ... nice one. But what does "just don't can't" mean? Is that Nissan engrish?Quote:
Toyotas just don't can't keep up with the Patrol pace.
lol
And lets face it even Toyota Japan realised their deficiencies and allowed Toyota Australia to build their Brand Advertising around the theory of "I drive a Toyota --- BUGGER", Hey that could be my pay back. might buy a BUGGER sticker and put it on his car for some happy snaps.

Looks like they breed em tough but kinda dopey.......hahahahaha
and then there was the Nissan videos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_GzBAi_DOg
Old mate Mr Toymota ^^^^ was the camera man on that one.....
You know what would make a great Nissan add?
The Toyota and Nissan stop at the bottom of the hill and look up. They turn to each other and the cocky Toyota driver says "Toyota built tough, See you at the top buddy, if you can make it...haha"....He takes off and gets stuck.
Nissan driver says "I'll show this pelican" and cuts to Dazz's video of him powering up the hill, goes past the bogged Toyota, beeps the horn and says "Yeah, real tough mate" and screams past. Suddenly the powerful GQ sprays all those boulders over the bogged Toyota, smashes the lights and the diff snaps from a rock and a bit of steam comes out of the engine bay with the Toyota driver saying..."BUGGER"....LMAO
Actually .... I might have some footage you can use for your ad of a vehicle driving up that hill, stopping, and steam coming out of the engine bay .... hey Darren :-)
Yep that was a sad day. fortunately not mine steaming away and the Nissan that did die will never turn another wheel. damn it. Tough hill, Very Tough Hill.
We went back for another taste of it a few weeks ago and i did no less than 5 winch pulls up it and the only car to drive it unassisted was a GU IV 4.8, fully locked Running 37s and a rev limiter....hahahaha. Monster Hill.
We Dragged a very dead GQ with a fully balanced and blueprinted JPC prepped engine home that bounced off its rev limiter once too often before going pop. Very big error. very expensive.
Hey Danny, post up the video of the Toyota that drove the hill mate........Bugger! that didn't happen. hahahahaha. I think i had my stubby holder that day though so the stubbie holder got to the top ;)
Post the Video Danny, they will love it mate
Got a few more pics of 'Nubby', the Nissan Patrol Stubby Holder today ... looks like it had a fun day to me!

It truly does make each and every one of those photos look 100% better. Did you photoshop the back grounds up or did the "Nubbie" just lift the shots??
Ahhh ... you want some photochopped ones do ya.
I heard your pretty good at photoshop!!
From this point on Dont believe a word ladies and gentlemen!! Game On!
Sal said it needed training wheels ....

That poor stubby holder is going to need serious therapy after all this...lol
hahahaaha - more Ninglish .... what is a Bettle?Quote:
Rogue Dung Bettle
hahaha - I love it!
As Google would say: Did you mean: beetle
LOL
man - this thread really brightens my day
8 more posts too and you can get special access to some real 4wd manuals.
We have a 25 post rule to get access to manuals and I never thought a dedicated Toyota owner could get this far....I'm speechless..lol
Rogue Dung Beetle!!! I love it!!!
Yep, 25 post count and you can download a full Nissan Workshop Manual for any model you like Danny...In English mate ;) 1200 pages per manual.
Hang on.....you dont need a Nissan Manual as there is not a manual for the use of a Nissan Stubbie holder other than Insert cold Beer, twist cap. Drink.
You need a Toyota Manual for the Body,
A Holden Manual for the Gear Box
A Chev Manual for the Engine
Google for everything else
And a Slab of Beer for the stubbie holder to drown your sorrows my friend.
Life is good in a Nissan
So MR, I'm guessing the main reason for lifting your fantastic stubby holder is because your Landcrab mate cant afford his own, due to all the necessary repairs and much needed upgrades to his rig!!!????/ lmao
Cheers Tim,
Mate i tell ya, that is one HARD CORE HILL mate. That video was shot in Feb 2011. I stood on the hill right where i lifted that left wheel near the start a month ago and fair dinkum mate i was sh1tting myself!! if i had not driven it back in February in that Vid i would have thought that is was truly un-drive-able... SICK mate
I fair dinkum had an OMG moment mate, pure bloody madness. I should have ticked it off the list of thing that needed to be done after the first trip up it in that vid, when we went back a month ago it was a beast of a hill.
Nearly un-walkable. Parts near the bottom where i lifted the wheel were probably pushing 45 degrees. Where i am winching in the other video was the easiest section at around 30 degrees. It goes at that angle for at least 200m of driving.
Its Hard Core, Its a Nissan Hill. Bring it. Use it if ya got it. Damn!!!!!
