Bump again ...
Bump again ...
I'm definatly in... Ive asked a few mates but no confirmations on them yet
The TORQ4x4 crew are up for this trip. :smiley_thumbs_up:
I'll bring my GQ. Looking forward to meeting you guys.
Murray
OK, so ive pre booked a camp for us all (camp 1 on the map) MAP
Its has the best access for those that may have 2wd tow vehicles or car trailers/camper/caravan (or BT50's) etc, it is also closest to the Toilets/Shower block, and very easy to find once in the front gate.
To make it easy for everyone, I plan to organise a "A" message board for the area with "Nissan Patrol.com.au" sign of some description (or may just be drunken scribblings of "a la Scotty":trink13:)
Anyone who is definatley coming ,that also owns a chainsaw, can they please bring it along ?
I'm keen for Sat/Sun. Will bring the family (wife and 2 kids).
Don't have a chainsaw even though I have been asking for one for ages......LOL
Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Cheers,
Steve
Excelent. The more the merrier
But I have the chainsaw
Bump for Ryan and a few newer members ... numbers are steadily growing - going to be a cracker!!
Ryan, can you let Andrew know about it too please mate.
So I am firming as a good outside chance to come along Bigus Rigus as our cricket team continues to suck and will not make finals. I also have another mate who drives a (dare I say it) Toymota that might wanna come (he is a good bloke though, just misguided). It would only be for a day trip but I will let u no for sure when I get back from melbourne.
Adam
:xxxx:......:clapping:.......:1062:......:drunk:.. ......:smilie_bett:.........:1056:........:eck05:. ......:1092:........:smileyvault-cute-bi......
Well, I couldn't find a "Bump" smiley, so i just had to improvise (lol)
Top job mate ... one of the best bumps ever!! lmao
C'mon SEQ members!! The more the merrier!!!!
I'm hoping to get out there at least for a day trip, will be Nugget's maiden off road adventure. Still sorting out front recovery points and a few other small details.
Tony
Just as long as it doesnt look anything like those Nuggets we got to see @ LCMP tho Scotty (he-he)
Not sure if you've been to the rim before Tony, but they have some great stuff ,both easy and hard to put your rig through its paces.
at this stage i will be there,,,, would it be alright if i invited my old mate from across the street????? unfortunatly he only has a jeep or his ute ford/mazda bt50 type thingy
Excellent mate - and absolutely invite old mate as well, the more the merrier!! It's a chance to catch up, do some wheeling and have a few coldies irrespective of make (although they should be aware of the obligatory p!ss taking that will no doubt occur!!! lmao).
I may have another rig coming for a day trip
My ring ins all drive toyotas and they like to play hard core I need some moral (nissan) support on the more extreme tracks.... Dhuck I'm looking at you.... Warnie Ive seen you vids come on mate

Another bump
Here is a link to a location map on the park web site.....
http://www.scenicrimadventurepark.com.au/contact-us
But as i found the first time, the web instrutions kinda suck, Ive put together my own basic instructions (and GPS coordinates) to help those that have never been (or just wan't to know) how to get to Scenic Rim adventure Park.
Travel down Beaudesert -Boonah Rd (toward Beaudesert), turn into Sandy Creek RD (Bromelton)
Travel all the way down Sandy Creek RD, turn right at the roundabout, then first left onto a narrow dirt road/track,
Follow this un-sealed rd to the park, (this track also leads to City View 4x4 park), if unsure, bear left at the junctions/tracks or follow signs to Scenic Rim Adventure Park.
Entry point to the dirt road (that leads to Scenic Rim 4x4 park) via Google Earth GPS.......
Latitude 27°59'41.21"S
Longitude 152°55'39.79"E
Or, cut and paste the following into the Google Earth "Fly To" box....
27°59'41.21"S 152°55'39.79"E
UHF 17
(perhaps directions may be good in the first post as well Scotty ?)
Top job mate - I'll edit the first post when I get back!
Also interested to see if anyone may be keen for a small night run on the saturday night ? (im sure Big Rig will be a goer)
Night driving is allowed in the park up until 9pm without any pre approval, and i know a great little plateau that is perfect for looking at the Stars in the Milky Way, the Stars as ive seen from this spot are so much brighter/clearer without the huge haze of light emitted by city lighting.
what kind of numbers are we look at this far scotty
had look at their web site but found it a bit hard to work out what the costs are???? does anyone know how much it is exactly???
