Entry 2:
Heading into the Peruvian Amazon in 2013 riding 3 wheel moto-taxis' for 3500 km as part of an adventure called the moto-taxi junket. We'd been riding up and down mountains for hours and decided to take a break waiting for another team to catch up. Seemed like a funny idea at the time.

This months comp is now closed to further entries & all members are now invited to peruse the photos which folk have posted & to VOTE for your favourites. It really is a very easy task, just click the Thanks button for the post(s) containing the photos you like most. You can vote for as many or as few as you wish, & can even change your vote if you want to right up until voting closes on Friday night (31st March) at 7pm (Vic time ) or thereabouts. (I'll post to say voting has closed as sometimes I don't manage to be 'on time' - but it wont be earlier than 7 pm).
OK get to it, the more who vote the better! Oh & if any entries are enlargeable thumbnails, please click on them to see them in all their glory ... it can make a real difference & is respectful of the entrant.

Thanks to last months winner VK2FMIA for his choice of topic.
stevemc180 please PM me your choice of topic for our March comp. Previous topics & winners can be viewed HERE. For some unknown reason I was unable to copy & open your winning photo, so had to make do with a screenshot above. If you have a larger/better copy & would like that added to the list of winners instead et me have your email address & I'll drop you a line so you can send it to me, otherwise I'll just add the screenshot.
Wow 2nd place!! My best ever! :animierte-smilies-t
Thanks again cuppa for a great thread. Bring on the next one!
Some Cracking pics!! Can't wait for the 2018 Calender @rustynail
Thanks for all the votes, I have to give credit to my mate Mick who actually took the photo. He had to bail out of this trip a few days later with some severe asthma issues. The wild flowers were in full swing when we went through here and I don't think the pollen helped his cause much. These camels ran ahead of us for about 10km's and we stopped for awhile hoping they would get off the track. But nope, we came up and over the hill and here they were, still trotting down the track. After Mick bailed at Alice, I headed across the Simpson solo to complete my Western Most Point (Steep Point) to eastern Most Point (Byron Bay) vcia the Central Most Point (Lamberts) Crossing.
Ok, is it my pic for Next Months subject? I'll PM Cuppa
