Entry 1
These are some of my rocks. I collect them to remember places, times and people. Some of them include the summiting a mountain with my dad, the super pit at Kalgoorlie, the first walk I went on after my back brace was off etc..
They don't look fancy but they mean a lot to me.

Not worthy and technically not even a rock as such, just inspired to join in and share.
Thanks Cuppa for your dedication :-)!
Such a simple thread honestly makes us look a little closer, well done mate, see you in the hills soon!

This one can't count as I'd posted three already, but I took this one this morning.
When I pulled it up on the laptop the 'face' jumped right out. Didn't even see it when i took the shot. Limestone Karsts out past Chillago.

Well this months comp has seen a good number of entries, & of a high standard. Well done everyone who posted their photos. Well done also to the voters, it's good to see some higher voting numbers.
Competition was very close with two entries taking it down to the wire, but we do have a winner.
In first place with 23 votes is Boinzo with his photo of Handrail Pool, in Weano Gorge, Karijini NP. I was pretty envious of that pic. Those of you who have been there might recall that part of the initial descent into the gorge is by ladder down the cliff. It was there that my wife managed to drop my camera. I recall seeing it bounce down the rocks. The fall killed it & so no pics of Handrail Pool & a new camera bought in Port Hedland a bit later.

In second place with 22 votes is VK2FMIA with his shot of the spectacular Sawn Rocks in the Mt Kaputar NP.

In third place with 15 votes is Fracster with his North Yorkshire landscape showing the limestone paving.
