173kw and 680nn....
Where is it???
Is it finished?
Well holy moly. Easily the best mod I've done so far. It's safe tuned to about 152rwkw, it was 75 prior to the pump. It's sooo nice to drive now! I'll have to keep an eye on my speed as it will be possible to get tickets now!
Mark seems to think that my tyres are sapping about 20-30kw so he said I'm welcome to re run it with some at's for free.
Not sure about the torque, I didn't ask & it doesn't have it on the dyno sheet. She pulls like a bus full of school boys now though.
Yeah definitely, I just wanted to safe tune as it's more for every day driving/touring now.
33" Federal Couragias. He said because they are an aggressive MT terrain they sap the power.
Show us a pic of the dyno?
I'll take a photo of the dyno sheet shortly and upload it. It starts differently now, it revs up for a split second just as it fires.
Dont delve to deep into my comments. It is a good improvement with nearly double what you started with. And as you say the driveability has improved a lot. Improving driveability is what really makes these things fun to drive.
Good to hear your happy with it
A pleasure to drive especially after the $$ spent actually turn your car into a fun thing to drive.
First thing you will notice you'll arrive at your destination less tired as less input as a driver is required.
& if your towing its a huge difference to arrive fresh.
I had a chat with Mark at JPC today. They do a 4 Terrain clutch kit for $1600 installed. He tells me another customer of his is making 196kw on 37s with the same clutch. It also comes with warranty, if it slips it will be fixed apparently.
Sounds like a good deal, what do you guys think?
Hey mate, I asked about these clutches a little while ago.

Beneboy said his 4Terrain was holding up at 750nm
He did an all out performance build... it is full on!

Npc viper will do 1000nm. Ufi say 800nm but the one in the test vehicle has help up at 1000+nm. If you go the npc just get the clutch and have your flywheel drilled to suit.
I will also highly recommend lightening the flywheel and have the clutch/flywheel assembly balanced. You will like the difference it makes and it also helps in preventing crank breakages.
4Terrain are great clutched from my research. They're only around the corner from me just off Settlement rd.
Heres mine sitting in the garage after Mudski didn't need it for his car.
Comes with an uber timber box, if that doesn't sell it, i don't know what will. lol

No worries mate, sounds good. I'm wanting to get one done before the Licola trip, the boss will confirm tomorrow if I can have the time off or not.
I just got off the phone from Matt at UFI, $850 delivered for their clutch. Good for 1000nm. He said to have my flywheel machined & lightened by 2kg at least.
The workshop across from my work has quoted $700 to fit a clutch for me.
