It's shame they dont grow that big anymore.

Not that I know of. The seals are actually really nasty and bite through airhoses of divers and I think even in the middle of summer the water temp gets to about 15c. They say you can last about 10 min before hypothermia sets in. I'd have to check but the distance between platforms is a far way ! The only ppl who do it are the SAS. But I cant tell you that !

A few more shots.. The boat is droppoing rocks on sea bed around platform to stabilse the sea bed..

Love the lightning, as kids (5 - 6) we used to stand out in the fields, watching the storm front coming in and see who would stay out there the longest. The thunder was worse than the lightning at that age becasue it would shake the ground. Does it shake the Rig ?

23 years ago I worked on Horn Island in the Torres Strait, 140 men / animals and 1 woman.
She was treated like a princess, hope the lads on board do the same for you.
Seems like a life ago .....
