Thanks as I said things have gone pear shaped big time .
That being the case I'll let it go till next year.
Take it my parcel hasn't arrived yet?
You'll get work [more] from Snap Lizard I reckon.
gunna need a bigger room lol
Nothing yet but that doesn't surprise me.
The sg1 image i ordered from the UK last week just got delivered, my sister works for AustPost in 1 of their sorting facilities, said thwy are processing a minimum of 30 tonnes of mail a day at the moment.
I have a few orders on the go at the moment that I am trying to catch up on plus trying to make display products for stall holder at the local markets who is stocking my gear...running out of steam quickly and can't afford an offsider to help.
The arm guard is slowly taking shape, just need to dye and stitch on the other straps and then polish and it is finished.

bloody good looking guard there buddy, love that colour/stain
I ended up getting a basic jeans belt for $29, 40mm
but I'll get you to do one for me next year for those buckles
It's a new colour I ordered the other day. Antique Mahogony and normal Mahogony dye.
1st time using this colour and love it, this and my Antique Saddle Tan are my 2 colours of choice as they come out the best overall.
yeah and they make your tooling stand out too,
can only imagine what they look like in the flesh
No probs at all with the belt. I have a funny feeling the owner of this guard may not end up using it lolol
Last of the stitching completed. Time for a polish.

Told you my shed is an Aladdins cave. lol anyway found some Buff horns I got from the Ab's in Katherine years ago,
Once I have them nice and tight Ill measure up for a bit of leather to go around the centre, probably lace it at the back with some para cord.
Also have some goat horns but no idea yet how to mount them yet, They might be better on say an 8" disc of red gum or similar.
All this is next year if at all, a lot can happen as we know lol
OH why is one black, they told me to use black nugget and it works a charm,
maybe mount them on a big board with some Bowie knives between the points
Maybe a leather cuff that wraps around the centre and laced on the sides to be tied at the back with some deign work in the centre of it?
Another armguard variant in the process of being made.

Feel free to drop us a line if anyone has any queries on items shown or chasing an item that has not been shown / made yet. More than likely I will have templates for them already or able to knock 1 up fairly quickly.
For the muso's out there, I now also guitar straps and guitar pick key fobs. I will also be making combined guitar pick wallets as well in the near future.
Map wallets come to mind every one needs a map wallet.{Decent size]
These could have the NP logo on them. just a thought
Already have a basic template made up that needs some tweaking and waiting for AB's schedule to allow him some time to go through getting a stamp made up. I can get them made up, just need to work out sizing and style so I can get a quote knocked up
Alright I understand the fancy work is done via a punch if I'm right,
but how do you cut the Shape? do you have some kind of electric cutter?
either the straight blade or rotorary style blade
The design work (fancy stuff) can be done with different sized stylus pencils, swivel knives, modelling tools and / hand stamps.
Some leather tools are exactly the same as fine woodworking tools as both professions share multiple skill sets.
Cutting out of the leather (which my wife and son are doing for me at the moment), will depend on the thickness (ounce rating) and type of leather (saddle leather, vegetable / oil tanned etc).
Thinner leather can be done with certain types of craft, leather, shear type scissors. Thicker you go, you can involve the use of a scalpel, stanely knife or rotary cutter. I haven't seen any 'electric type' shears available so far.
Marking out the leather can be done with a leather pen which has a silvery type removable ink, scratch awl or stylus. Generally not recommended using any standard ink or felt tip pens but they are used sometimes.
when I was a sewing machine mechanic after the fabric was laid out and
the pattern pinned on top they used vertical blade and rotary blade cutters.
Sometimes the fabric can be 8" high, I'll have to "U" Tube it lol
I can only remember a guy using a curved stanely style knife and
cutting drawing the blade from underneath towards him.
Cool thanks forgot about your back doh lol
I haven't got any of the curled blades / knives but have been trying to find just the blades as I have a heap of handles from over the years.
Over the past few months, with the enormous help of my wife and son who both did a lot of work to assist me, this item would not have been completed.
A brown custom hunting / knife belt sporting a gold western floral buckle, two tone nickel / gold western conchos, a matching pair of bullets loops and custom, moulded horizontal carry knife sheath.

Two thumbs up to Munchkin
Apologies for the sporadic posts, as some members are aware there have been a few medical issues going on recently.
Over the last few months, I've been speaking to various people into the outdoors and mines rescue, about what they'd like to see in a utility waist bag that can be used for minor rescue gear or general items that are readily accessible when out bush or foot patrols around mine sites.
From this, I drafted a bag pattern based on what these items were and that could be easily modified and have had a professionally CAD generated pattern that is a 100% original style and again handcrafted with genuine leather.
Here are some progress pics on the 1st draft of this new style that my family and I have been working on.
Once this is completed, more pics will follow as well as pricing and lead times for them. I'm hoping to have 2-3 versions available when ready.

Fairly early on this year, I was asked by collector's store, to look at the possibilities of coming up with our own customised version of Star Wars inspired utility belts.
After many months of trial and error, my family and I are happy to release our 1st version of utility belts and matching pouches called the "Ranger Series".
We are also drawing up 2 new designs called the "Guardian Series" and the "Senate Series" which we hope to release towards the end of the year.
The "Ranger Series"is now available to be ordered direct from us or from The Collector's Zone in Clarkson WA.

That's a good price for the set, most beginner sets are between 15-20 stamps, was 1 of the 1st sets I got when I started.
Cheers, that was the 1st version draft run. When I'm able to, will try and do a few more version over time with different features and add ons
