Mine was bent up way worse than that, to the pint with top of the sill whhich should have a right angle was folder and bent up under and the right angle was a huge lip. ended yp cutting out a window in the sill, bent back into shape and cut a section from an old dented door to weld on the inside, still have a bit of bogging to do.

Hit that with a belt sander now mate.

As discussed earlier in the thread the deformation of your sill meant that cutting it out and replacing it with a new section was a good call. What you have done is a compromise and that's fine mate, I made the same compromise on my GQ.

That little spot welder is SENSATIONAL!!!!

had no option, rang around a few wreckers and told them what I was after and they said they would go and check, but no one got back to me, so had to make do with what I got here.... Now to chase a belt sander...

Must be the time of year , only small damage , but enough to catch the corner of the door , also found that the brackets for 3 of the flair clips were non existent . It will go to the pannel beaters , when I get sliders sorted !

A mate is supposed to be doing a set for me , but Christmas my come first , but if I wait they should be something special and blingy !

Just make sure they are sliders you can jack the car off as I had tjm steps/brush bars and I pushed them into the body doing more damage then good! And they are now bent like a banana

My old/your new sliders are bolsys. Welded by him. Hopefully you'll be happy once you fit them. I was at least.

IMO sliders are worth their weight in gold. Ever dollar spent on sliders is a dollar not spent on panel damage and doors not being openable.
