I had a 93 gq Patrol so it is 93patrol. Took along time to think of that one.
My old man used to sing on the job, songsmlike Danny boy etc. Being a tiler the room always had good acoutics so it was heard pretty much anywhere. Guys used to call him O'sola mio though it was more like arsola.
When I started work with him I got the name sonof arsola which shortened to sonof and it stayed.
The batcher put Sherro up over the loading bay instead of the truck number and it stuck.
mudnut... Because I have no imagination.
Mine is just plain and simple
The boys I used to work with forming called me peabod. Short for mr Peabody because I knew everything apparently. Might Change to that. How about it AB
Mine is derived from my navy rank and speciality...
Chief Petty Officer Combat Systems Manager
Better than my pussers nickname foreskin, or Skins for short. Part of joining the navy the chief regulator on your first posting usually gave you a nickname. The chief coxswain asked me my name when I joined and replied"SMNRP Forsyth, Chief!". The rest is history! My mother was mortified!!
Forum name used to be Highlander, but got changed to Gecko as most people that know me in the 4wd scene here know me as Gecko. Derived from my gaming tag of Angry Gecko.
When the kids first left school and got a license they wanted to borrow a car so Mum would send them to me to borrow the 4x4 and it generally came back with no fuel ,when asked what about some money for fuel the answer was "not my tractor" .Fair enough I thought its Dads Tractor go get your own or walk so they did end of problem.
My forum name (sorry, my forum number) :) derives from Peugeot 205, which is my first and most beloved car :)
It's a 27 years old jewel and it's a true car, not a collection of plastics like my other "newer" cars. It still makes me smile when I'm driving it (except when I curse it when something is not working properly) :)
The kid's were watching Transformers when I signed up. .
My new tag, well I envy blokes like MR, I dream of a big GQ lol
I'm not telling
I lived in an area in the Darling Scarp (Darling Range) WA. I would read about a few historical sites around the place in the hills, I`d go see if I could find them and of other points of interest.
always been my online handle... i think from about 12-13. it was probably the first random word that came to my head lol.
i want to know where todds name came from!
Rocket is a long time nickname, but it was taken on the first forum I signed up to so I added my kart racing number to it.
My school mates always called me LachDog and I get called Dogs at work but as of late its been Clive Palmer can you guess why? lol. The Diggity just gives it some flare. :p
Because RLI and PMC were taken :)
Bought a HSV VT Series II Clubsport R8 that had the number plate CLUBR8, has been my online handle ever since.....
‘Cos that’s who I am. ..........Buried somewhere in the depths of the forum is an explanation & I can’t be bothered to repeat it.
Because it is the one I was born with.... :)
My rego plate is bye.
Because my other forum name is more suited to online gaming (uber geek) which I haven't done in years. We have two great Beagles (sadly only one now) who bring joy and happiness with their behaviour. I na,ed my business LaughingBeagles and use it as a forum name because I invokes the image of a beagle chortling like mutley - that always brings a smile.
